It really struck me, watching the movie, that Amber is really not included in the lives of her brother and father very often. She's there at the beginning (she starts "Mark it Up," for example), and then she drifts off or walks out. Maybe it's just that there's such a large age difference between her and the boys, but there's definitely a psychological gap between them.
