A question
True Blood. Yes or no? Better than (or at least sufficiently different from) the books?
I haven't even looked for a single episode of this show, because I was so turned off by the first book - I didn't last more than a chapter. I am not a reader of romance, paranormal or otherwise; the closest I've gotten to reading romance was Diana Gabaldon. I was taught that description should be enough to get a taste for the character, not nauseatingly exhaustive (I do not care about Sookie's SOCKS AND SHOES, thank you). It occurs to me, however, that description will not be an issue in a television show. Should I give it a chance?
What's your favorite show right now, and why should I be watching it?

However, I DID listen to an interview of the girl who plays Suki. The only thing I remember is her elaborating on how she had to lick watermelon flavored "blood" off a plastic arm for an hour and the "blood", which mostly consisted of corn syrup, tasted disgusting.

Uhm, I liked DollHouse a lot, and am sad it's over. I also just rented TinMan again, and love it.

Obvs my favorite show right now is Supernatural. It ended up being WAY better than I thought. But so did Merlin. I don't know if either of those is your cup of tea though.
