I just cabled without a cable needle. This is sort of like tightrope without a net, except that the only thing that will fall are stitches. SALVAGING DROPPED STITCHES IS NO FUN. However, I WAS SUCCESSFUL!

I was told it was exhilerating.

It's very true.
