I have to admit, most Grilo leaves me a little sick to my stomach.

I like the ones where GR is a jerk. But most Grilo is far to fluffy for my taste.

And I am very strongly of the opinion that post-opera, Gravrobber belongs to Amber and Shilo belongs to Luigi.

And GR just isn't fluffy. He's not a dealer with a heart of gold. He's kind of an asshole, as a matter of fact. (But I love him anyway, because I'm dumb like that.)

Post-opera, they both belong to me. Because I'm a greedy bitch like that. Also, the twenty-year age gap between Shilo and Luigi is a little... unsettling.

I know the age gap is very large but I really think that Shilo needs someone to take care of her. Being locked in her room for 17 years she has no life skills whatsoever, and I think her personality clicks with Luigi's.

There's a definite difference between having someone to take care of her (and guide her into maturity, one would hope) and a D/s relationship. That would just have Shilo stepping from one possessive, controlling relationship into another, and I don't think that's what she needs. I'm also not buying the idea of Luigi being into simpering, cowering, submissive partners. Luigi needs a woman who will fight back, who will be a challenge - anything less would be boring. He's violent and prone to lashing out; it's easy to find someone who'd bow and scrape and tremble, less so to find someone he can respect. One of the things I like about Luigi/Amber is that she's not afraid to challenge him, so when she's submissive to his demands it's because he's earned it from her.

I'm not saying that it's healthy, I'm just saying that given her options, after her dad is dead, I think Luigi would be who she ended up with. And Shilo can be uppity sometimes, but I think that if Luigi was with someone that was too strong willed, he would end up killing them. I think the only reason he does not kill his siblings is that "Dad would be angry"
You have clearly thought about this a lot more than I have, though.

I think you give Luigi less credit than he deserves for having actual human emotions.

Having emotions and acting on them are two different things. And he is a "larger than life" character, he is supposed to be that way. So his reactions are exagerated. Even if you love someone very much, if they do something unforgivable, you might do something extreme- like hit them for example- to get your point across. Luigi is more extreme than most, so that is why I can see him snapping and killing someone dispite how he may feel about them.

Pavigi is unnatural. I write a lot of it, but I hate doing it. Luigi (and everyone else in the world) may be Pavi's type but Pavi is NOT Luigi's type.

see, you talk about d/s relationships, and i cant see shi in that context AT ALL, but pavi is such a masochistic slut ripe for abuse and punishment by luigi, and reveling in it, that it becomes amazingly hot. and i think that luigi needs that outlet, that release, too.

when shilos being punished, i just feel sorry for her.

but, maybe that is because shes my favorite.

My problem with Luigi and Pavi being that way is that I can't make Luigi CARE about Pavi despite all pretense, and I want him to care. I want him to be doing this for his partner's own good. And I think Shilo is perfect because he has no life experience and really NEEDS someone to take care of her. And there is a certain thrill that some people get from being put in their place, I can see her being into that.
I also don't really see Pavi as a sub, I see him as a switch- whatever he needs to be at the time.

and 2 more things:
The one time Shilo and Luigi interact in the movie, he's nice to her and shielding her from Pavi.
And shouldn't Amber be your favorite?
