High School: Repo! the Genetic Opera - Principal Rotti Largo has his hands full, between running Our Mother of Sorrows High School, keeping tabs on his extremely talented choir teacher (the students call her the Blind Hag), making sure his short-tempered oldest son doesn't kill someone and destroy his hopes of a football scholarship, and his soft-hearted younger son doesn't knock up some Catholic schoolgirl, but now Nathan Wallace, his erratic but gifted science teacher, has agreed to let his previously homeschooled daughter, Shilo, enter as a freshman. To add to that, his own daughter Carmela, the head cheerleader and the most popular girl in school, has been spending a disturbing amount of time with the stoner dropout most people just call Graverobber.
Mundane: Xiaolin Showdown - Jack Spicer loves being an antiques dealer in San Francisco, even more since he left his bitchy former mentor Wuya to work with the knowledgeable and mysterious (and handsome!) Chase Young, who deals in artifacts and antiques that haven't been seen in centuries. Sure, he doesn't seem to understand how to work the fax machine, and he has a lot (no, like, a LOT) of cats, but Jack's learning a lot and making seriously good money. His only real problem is a group of four meddling grad students, who are convinced that anything of value belongs in a museum, and will do anything they can to get to the artifact before Jack and Chase.
Detectives: FFVIII - Squall Leonheart is a down-on-his-luck gumshoe, who always seems in danger of being evicted from his office, his apartment, or both. Zell Dincht is his partner, but he's seriously reconsidering his career choices. Then Rinoa Heartilly walks into their office, and offers a job neither of them can afford to turn down.
